Lice Eggs Sometimes parents use head lice products and combed and then find another lice infestation 2 weeks later.. Most likely the parents did not completely eliminate the lice the first time. Missing only a few tiny lice when combing out will be enough to start the head lice cycle all over again. To prevent re-infestation you must continue to examine all family members otherwise the lice will come back.
